The cottages are within walking distance of the village centre. The cottages sleep between 2 – 6 people and are fully equipped inside with the same luxuries and facilities. Each has an outside gas braai, their own private swimming pool, air-conditioning, indoor gas fire places and Satellite T.V. The bathrooms are equipped with towels and luxury toiletries. The cottages are serviced every day except Sunday and Public Holidays. All the cottages have laundry facilities. We are child friendly, camper cots and high chairs are available for small children and we do have a baby sitting service. Franschhoek is only one hours drive from Cape Town, making it the perfect getaway while visiting the Cape or even as your base while exploring the Winelands and the Overberg area (perhaps a day trip to Hermanus to watch the Southern Right Whales during June - October). The beauty of staying in our cottages is that you have a lovely home with lots of privacy all to yourself. You have your own entertainment patio leading out to the pool and garden, great to laze by on the hot summer days and just soak up the beautiful mountain views of the valley. Driving from Cape Town on the N1out of Cape town you carry on past the Winelands 1-Stop Engen garage until you reach exit 47 which is signposted Wellington – Stellenbosch - Klapmuts. 2. You take the off ramp and proceed to the T junction then turn right under the bridge. 3. You then carry on approximately 500m further, pass over the 4-way stop. 4. Shortly after the 4 -way stop turn left at the Franschhoek sign. 5. Carry on with this road until it ends into a T-junction right after the railway tracks at which you turn right which is the road to Franschhoek. 6. This will then take you straight into Franschhoek. 7.
