mere 800 m from the Mossel Bay Golf Course, however you
can visit George for the day and play at the famous
Fancourt Golf Estate (which has the 4 courses: The
Montagu, The Outeniqua, The Links and Bramble Hill) or
visit the Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort which is
around 30 min and 20 min drive from the guest house.
Apart from the historic
influence this town had on mariners since 3 February
1488 when Bartolomeus Dias became the first seafarer
from Europe to sail into Mossel Bay it is also known for
its beautiful old sandstone buildings as well as it’s
seafood….visit the famous Café Gannet Restaurant “Mossel
Bay’s Seafood House” where fresh Mossel Bay sole,
mussels and oysters can be enjoyed while overlooking the
bay.
Mossel Bay was not only
the sole source of fresh water on a long and hazardous
journey for Dias and other early explorers, but also the
first port where they could communicate by means of
letters left in the now historical Post Office Tree
which can be seen when visiting the museum.

Botlierskop Private Game Reserve where you can do a 4x4
game drive, see the game on horseback or ride an
elephant! If you wish to visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch
or Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn, but prefer to stay at the
coast, then Linkside 2 can be your base and you can take
a daytrip to Oudtshoorn.

Bartholomeus Diaz Museum or just go for a lazy stroll
along the pristine beach and for the more adventurous
